I know you are rejoicing in heaven with the Lord, grandma, David and countless friends and families that have preceded you. Love you Daddy until we see you again.
Deborah Bracamonte-Tweedy, Merced, CA
Family & Friends gathered to pay their respects on 11 August 2016 for the Viewing of Comrade Bracamonte, then again on 12 August for Services. Comrade Bracamonte was then escorted to the Bakersfield National Cemetery where he received full Military Honors.
Jesus "Jesse" Barrios Bracamonte (71) of Bakersfield, California was called home on Saturday, August 6, 2016.
Jesse was born on April 9, 1945. He received Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age and remained active in the church community throughout his lifetime. After graduating Arvin High in 1963, Jesse enlisted in the US Army and served his country in the Vietnam War. He was an active Board member of his church and served as Quartermaster for his district at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
Jesse was a devoted husband and loving father.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11th from 4-8pm at Vida Nueva Church (2101 Mt. Vernon Ave) in Bakersfield. Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 12th at 11am, at Vida Nueva with interment following at 1pm at the National Cemetery, 30338 E. Bear Mountain Blvd, Arvin, CA.
